Research Assistant (internal applications only employees and volunteers)
We require a Research Assistant to support the Research Manager in providing specialist knowledge of The Tank Museum’s subject and collections to other Museum departments and external customers.
The key role of the Research Assistant will be to locate suitable, imagery, video and information to support the aims of the Museum. This will mainly be to meet the needs of the Museum’s online content together with exhibitions and publishing programmes. A significant and growing element of the role will be providing support for military visits to the Museum, including delivering presentations and tours.
A high standard of written English is required together with knowledge of C20 military history. A relevant degree or professional qualification would be desirable together with experience in an archive, supporting collection or curatorial department.

Salary - £22,000 per annum
Hours - 37.5 per week
