As part of The Tank Museum’s Visitor Services Department, the post-holder will work under the supervision of the Visitor Services Operations Manager on tasks such as – serving our visitors on admission and in our shop, organising stock, keeping the shop area clean and tidy, processing and packaging online orders. When the Museum closes work continues providing our customers with Tank Museum merchandise ordered online. This post may involve some evening work as well as weekends and bank holidays.
The Tank Museum can be extremely busy in the summer season and a degree of flexibility is required in this role as the placement may be required to help our in other areas of the Museum.
At the end of the six-month period the placement will have gained valuable experience in retail and customer service.
