Vehicle Rides Operator
The Workshop plays an important role in maintaining the high level of presentation of the collection as well as promoting the museum through moving vehicle displays.
During our busy seasonal period The Tank Museum operates a vehicle rides fleet. The Vehicle Rides provide our visitors with a great experience and allows the Museum to demonstrate the use of our tracked vehicles.
The museum is looking for a Vehicle Rides Operator to inspect, operate and maintain these vehicles. The Vehicle Rides Operator will be required to operate the vehicles within strict Health and Safety guidelines ensuring the safety of our staff, volunteers and visitors.
As a visitor facing role customer service skills will be essential as you will play an important part in presenting the Tank Museum as a world class attraction.
Rate of Pay - £12.73 per hour
Contract - Casual, to cover our busy seasonal period running until September 2024.
Hours - The number of hours/rota will be discussed during interview however you will need to have availability across weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.
Where - This role will be based on site at The Tank Museum
