Maintenance Operative
Our Maintenance Team is key to the success of the Tank Museum. By working to ensure the museum always remains presentable and functional, our Maintenance Operatives are central to ensuring our visitors have a safe, functionable and memorable visit.
The Maintenance Operative will support the Facilities Team Leader and the rest of the Maintenance Team in building and ground maintenance, along with supporting the wider operational team with the set up and take down of museum events and exhibitions.
The work of this team is very diverse and challenging and being multi-skilled and flexible is a big must for this job. Proven experience of a trade such as plumbing, carpentry or decoration and/or grounds maintenance is essential but due to the diversity of the role the successful candidate will have the opportunity to train and work across various trades within the museum.
Salary - £21,665 p/a (£11.11 per hour)
Contract - Permanent, Part Time
Hours - 22.5 hours per week, 3 out of 7 days to include some weekend working.
