Retail & Admissions Manager
This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join The Tank Museum's substantial retail operation. Since the Covid-19 pandemic our online sales have grown to be larger than our onsite sales, which has led to a growth of 140% in retail sales combined within the last 18 months. Thanks to our hugely successful online presence (YouTube channel reaching over 20m views with 340,000 subscribers and our Facebook community reaching 57m and 331,000 followers), The Tank Museum is now a well-known brand with the shop and online products becoming hugely popular.
The Retail & Admissions Manager is a key role in the organisation leading the Front of House, admissions and retail function. Working in collaboration with the Head of Commercial Operations and senior management team to ensure all commercial opportunities are maximised. The role is accountable for developing strategic initiatives and plans that grow profitability, and providing world class customer service to our visitors. This is an innovative and creative role involving product development, sourcing and buying merchandise within financial budgets, ensuring a workable cash flow and stock control.
A strong background in merchandising and procurement is required, along with the ability to work to sales budgets and KPI profit margins.
Salary - £32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
Contract - Full Time, 37.5 hours per week.
